Goannas are NOT Gawky
Gabby Goanna is tired of being teased by Dingo for being slow and gawky. When a bush race is announced in the Australian outback, Gabby decides to enter to prove he can run. With the help of Grandpa Goanna, Gabby trains hard and learns to climb, swim, and run. During the race, several animals—including the mean dingo—get into trouble. Gabby chooses to abandon his lead to rescue them. Although he loses the race, Gabby wins the respect of his peers, gains personal acceptance, and learns that winning is not the most important thing. Suitable for children aged 3–5 years.
Themes: Perseverance, friendship, sportsmanship, Australian animals.

Adventurous Alligator to Zany Zebra
This alphabet book was designed to support the introduction of the sounds alphabet by matching the each letter to the first sound of an animal. The sounds are aligned to the first year of school to support preschool children’s letter sound knowledge and school readiness. It is Beautifully illustrated by artist Niia Duroux and uses alliteration to reinforce each letter sound (e.g. adventurous alligator ambling). Great for 3-6 year olds.
